Law we follow
We comply with the Privacy Act 2020 and the Information Privacy Principles (IPPs). If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we also respect applicable GDPR rights where they apply to our processing.
Information we collect
- Contact details: name, email, phone when you enquire or book.
- Messages: content you send via forms or email.
- Coaching notes: session summaries stored with your consent for continuity.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device data, and cookie identifiers (see Cookies Policy).
- Payment records: billing details processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers).
How we use information
- Respond to enquiries and deliver coaching services you request.
- Send administrative emails (booking confirmations, policy updates).
- Improve website security and performance.
- With consent, analytics and marketing measurement.
- Meet legal and tax obligations in New Zealand.
Legal bases (GDPR visitors)
Where GDPR applies: contract performance, legitimate interests (security, service improvement), consent (non-essential cookies/marketing), and legal obligation.
Disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We may share data with trusted processors (hosting, email, scheduling, analytics if consented) under confidentiality obligations, or when required by New Zealand law.
Overseas disclosure
Some processors may store data outside New Zealand (e.g. cloud hosting). We take reasonable steps to ensure comparable safeguards, including contractual protections where appropriate under IPP 12.
Retention
- Enquiries: up to 24 months unless a coaching relationship begins.
- Coaching records: up to 7 years after final session for professional and tax purposes, unless law requires longer or you request earlier deletion where we can lawfully do so.
- Cookie preferences: until you clear browser storage or withdraw consent.
Security
We use HTTPS, access controls, and staff training. No system is perfectly secure; please avoid sending sensitive health records—we are not a clinical service.
Your rights (New Zealand)
You may request access to and correction of your personal information. Contact us using the details above. If we decline a request, we will explain why as required by the Privacy Act 2020.

Children
Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16 without parental consent.
Notifiable privacy breaches
If a privacy breach causes serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Privacy Commissioner as required by the Privacy Act 2020.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Material changes will be highlighted on the website where practicable.
