Consumer information (New Zealand)
Last updated: 28 May 2026
This page summarises how New Zealand consumer law applies to coaching services sold by Authenticartsver to consumers in New Zealand.
Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA)
Services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill, fit for any particular purpose you tell us about, completed within a reasonable time (if no end date is set), and charged at a reasonable price (if price was not set in advance).
If we fail a guarantee, you may be entitled to remedies such as re-supply of the service or a refund in accordance with the CGA. Remedies depend on whether the failure is minor or serious.
Fair Trading Act 1986 (FTA)
We must not mislead you about what coaching includes, pricing, qualifications, or likely outcomes. Our marketing describes habit and schedule coaching only—we do not claim to cure, treat, or prevent illness.
Pricing and GST
Programme fees are confirmed in writing before payment. Where GST applies, it will be shown on your invoice or agreement.
Contracting out
The CGA generally cannot be contracted out of when you acquire services as a consumer. Business clients acquiring services for business purposes may have different rights—we will confirm in your agreement.
Disputes
See our Complaints procedure and Returns Policy. You may also use the Disputes Tribunal for eligible claims.
